ANTARES III is a remarkable 30-meter yacht built at Yachting Developments, New Zealand, with naval architecture and exterior design by Dixon Yacht Design.        
 
Fitted with an impressive 42.7-metre high-modulus Southern Spar carbon mast, her rig features a furling boom and EC6 continuous carbon rigging, which was replaced in 2021. This setup enables her to harness an extraordinary 4,876 square feet of sail area when sailing upwind.
 
The interiors by T Rhodes Young include an upper and lower saloon that flow into each other, forming airy, welcoming spaces. The upper saloon, with a bar and navigation station, connects to outdoor areas. 
Guest accommodations consist of three cabins: a full-beam owner's suite at the stern with private deck access, and two guest cabins—a double and a twin, with the twin featuring an extra Pullman berth. All guest cabins have spacious en-suite bathrooms. The crew quarters are positioned forward of the galley and crew mess, providing comfortable housing for four crew members.
 
ANTARES III meets the strict standards of Germanischer Lloyd and the MCA classification, ensuring excellent strength despite her lightweight build. Her composite hull uses post-cured epoxy E-glass, Carbon, and Kevlar, reinforced with high-strength foam sandwich technology and protected by an outer Kevlar layer for extra impact resistance.
